Duo Eterna was founded in 2001 by guitarists Paolo De Stefano and Luigi De Leo, with the intention of discover new music for two guitars and develop the potential of this ensemble.
The result is a duo that developed a new repertoire of original music and transcriptions, from Baroque to contemporary music with jazz influences and contaminations, especially from brazilian music.
"When I first heard the Duo Eterna, I felt exhilarated by their commitment and passion towards the guitar, and the art of making music. It was "love at first hearing" and so, I had no choice but to write something for them."
